By installing, accessing, or using Snap Markup ("the app", "the service") and the snapmarkup.com website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please uninstall the app and stop using the website.
1. Service
Snap Markup is a photo annotation, markup, and PDF generation app published by Appculus Technology. The Apple App Store version of Snap Markup is a paid one-time purchase; the Google Play version is free. The website snapmarkup.com is informational and links to both stores.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Snap Markup on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the platform store's own end-user license agreement (Apple Media Services Terms or Google Play Terms of Service).
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
- Use the app for unlawful purposes, including creating defamatory, harassing, or infringing content
- Use the app to violate someone else's privacy (e.g., publishing identifiable photos of another person without consent)
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app outside the official stores
- Bypass platform purchase mechanisms
4. Your content
Anything you create with Snap Markup — annotated photos, PDFs, exports — belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your content, we do not upload it, and we do not need a license to it. You're responsible for the photos you import and the rights you have to use them.
5. Our content & trademarks
"Snap Markup", the Snap Markup logo, the website design, and the in-app artwork are the intellectual property of Appculus Technology. You may take screenshots of the app for editorial / review use without permission; broader uses require written consent.
6. Updates & availability
We release periodic updates that may add features, change behavior, or remove features. We aim to keep Snap Markup compatible with currently-supported OS versions but do not guarantee compatibility with beta or unreleased OS versions.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Snap Markup is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no warranty that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Your use of the app is at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appculus Technology shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Snap Markup, including loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption.
9. Refunds
Refunds for the App Store version are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms. We do not process refunds directly. The Google Play version is free.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to discontinue Snap Markup, or to terminate your license to use it, if you breach these Terms. You can terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the app.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any change. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
