Privacy Policy (iOS)

iOS-specific privacy notes for the Snap Markup App Store listing.

Last updated May 3, 2026

This page describes how the iOS version of Snap Markup uses iOS-specific permissions and data classes. For the general policy that applies to all platforms, see our main Privacy Policy.

App Store data declaration

Snap Markup's App Store privacy nutrition label declares the following data classes — all of which are not linked to your identity and used only for app functionality and analytics:

  • Photos or Videos — accessed locally; never uploaded.
  • Diagnostics — crash logs and performance metrics.
  • Usage Data — feature-usage counts, no content.
  • Identifiers — Apple-provided IDFA / IDFV only if you grant tracking, used for crash attribution.

Permissions we request

  • NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription — to read photos you pick and save edited results.
  • NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription — to save edited photos back to the library.
  • NSCameraUsageDescription — for the in-editor camera capture.
  • NSLocationWhenInUseUsageDescription — for the Date & GPS Stamp tool only.
  • NSUserNotificationsUsageDescription — for optional product-update notifications.

App Tracking Transparency

Snap Markup does not use the AppTrackingTransparency framework to track you across other apps and websites. We do not show the iOS tracking prompt because we don't need it — we don't track you off-app.

Sign in with Apple

Snap Markup does not require any sign-in. If a future feature requires authentication we will offer Sign in with Apple as a primary option, per Apple's guidelines.

Children & Family Sharing

Snap Markup is rated 4+ on the App Store. Family Sharing is supported for one-time purchases — once one family member buys it on iOS, the rest of the family can install it.
